Mohd Mahayuddin Hussin is a microbiologist and researcher at SIRIM Berhad since 2002. He completed his Master in Bioindustrial Technology at University Malaysia Kelantan, Degree in Environmental Technology and Diploma in Microbiology from University Teknologi MARA. He is a registered Food Analyst under Majlis Juruanalisis Makanan Malaysia. He involved in various microbiology testing and R&D which contribute to his excellent microbiology skills and knowledge. He underwent exchange researcher program at Japan and attended microbiology training at USA and Ireland that make him a competent microbiologist. He lead and responsible for SIRIM Berhad Microbiology Laboratory ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. He involved in development of Technical Specification and Test Method on Herbs under Ministry of Agriculture, SIRIM Standard on Non-Medical Face Mask; SIRIM 40:2020 and SIRIM Standard on Hand Sanitiser; SIRIM 42:2020. He also successfully organized microbiology training for local and international participants.
