Has been with SIRIM for more than 21 years attached to Environmental Technology Research Centre. In the field of environmental technology, has implemented and managed a number of industrial, government and collaborative international R&D projects using biological and physicochemical technology for hazardous waste treatment, wastewater treatment and waste management technologies and life cycle assessment. The latest projects cover nanosafety evaluation, environmental technology verification, photocatalytic treatment in particular using solar energy for decontamination and disinfection, biological de-odourisation, biogas from anaerobic fermentation of organic wastewater and sustainable production and consumption approaches.
