My background is biomedical science.
I have over 10 years of lab experience in academic research, including ~5 years of working experience, with several scientific publications and conference presentations.
Upon joining postgraduate studies in South Korea and in Malaysia, I worked as research assistant in university.
After PhD, I worked for 2-year as postdoctoral researcher in Japan and another 1.5-year at a Malaysian university.
During this time, I started self-learning data science skills, knowing that these are in-demand skills nowadays.
In 2022, I decided a career transition from academia to industry for broader career options and joined SIRIM (ETRC).
With my experience and skills, I'm involved in genotoxicity and ecotoxicity studies for industrial product testing services in SIRIM.
Also, I would like to explore opportunities for research & development.
