BSc. Eng (Hons) Metallurgical Engineering

I am a Researcher specializing in Powder Metallurgy and Hard Friction Materials with more than 10 years in Research & Development (R&D) work as well as Technical Consultancy project with local agencies and industries. Current on-going R&D work is on development of brake pad and current collector for Light Rail Transit Application by exploring the prospect of localizing the product with potential local industry as technology taker. I have published more than 10 research papers and was involved in publishing 4 patents. Other than specific technical area mentioned above, I am a certified auditor/assessor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. In addition, I was also involved in several technical committees such as ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and HIRADC, as well as organizing committee for conferences and exhibitions organized by SIRIM Kulim.
